How Many Homes Did Developers Sell in August, and Where Does Solano Grand EC Fit?
EdgeProp Singapore, reporting URA data on 15 September 2026, put August 2026 developer sales at 153 new private homes excluding executive condominiums (ECs) and 171 including them. Solano Grand EC is an EC, so it belongs to the wider 171 count rather than the 153. The project is a 99-year leasehold at Senja Close, Bukit Panjang, in District 23, with about 300 homes on a site of about 109,352 sq ft at a plot ratio of 3.0.
How Does August Compare With Other Months, for Solano Grand EC Watchers?
EdgeProp Singapore gave 731 sales for July 2026 and 2,142 for August 2025. August 2026's 153 was therefore 79.1% lower than July and 92.9% lower than the previous August. The report also named the regional split of the 153: 72 in the Rest of Central Region (47%), 57 in the Outside Central Region (36%) and 24 in the Core Central Region (16%).
Why Was the Month So Quiet, and Does It Touch Solano Grand EC?
EdgeProp Singapore pointed to timing. The lunar seventh month began on 13 August in 2026 against 23 August in 2025, and no new project launched in August. Realion's Christine Sun tied the bigger yearly gap to the earlier start. One analyst said August was the lowest monthly volume excluding ECs since February 2024, and SRI's Mohan Sandrasegeran called it a "temporary breather".
